Soy milk does not contain lactose. So if you’re a vegan this would be a great source. The only downfall is that research has shown consuming soy milk has had harmful side effects.

 

Soymilk ingredients are:

  • Soy milk (Filtered water, whole soybeans)
  • Cane Sugar
  • Sea Salt
  • Carrageenan
  • Natural Flavor
  • Calcium Carbonate
  • Vitamin A palmitate
  • Vitamin D2
  • Riboflavin
  • Vitamin B12

 

The ingredient Carrageenan is the killer

 

Carrageenan is a sulfated poly saturated from edible seaweeds. They are used for thickening and stabilizing food products. Carrageenan has been known to cause colon cancer stomach inflammation It’s destructive to the immune system and causes inflammation. The ingredient Carrageenan has been known to cause stomach irritation: cancer and more bowel disease. I’ve also found this ingredient and common breeze milk products.

 

Reasons to avoid soy milk

soybeans affect estrogen levels. Higher estrogen levels can disrupt a woman’s menstrual cycle. Soybeans also cause clotting and red blood cells. About 90% of soy is chemically modified. Soybeans also block production of thyroid hormones. And they also can disrupt infertility and breast cancer in women. All through what it contains in the fluctuation of hormones.
